I’m a highly motivated, detail oriented, innovative, and people centric art director, graphic designer, and manager who has excelled working in a variety of environments including design/marketing firms, corporate in-house design groups, corporate learning, and university settings. I have a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Illinois where I built a solid foundation in the art of typography, creative thinking/problem solving, and communication. Since then, my industry experience has enabled me to continue perfecting these skills as well as learn new ones.
My educational background and varied industry experience have made me both a skilled graphic designer and well rounded leader, most recently, heading a team of ten instructional designers, creative writers, graphic designers, and a project manager delivering custom elearning content to a variety of clients ranging in size from individual entrepreneurs to Fortune 500 companies. I pride myself not only on my creative abilities but also my ability to lead a talented team and effectively communicate with each client in order to deliver creative, functional, and beautifully designed materials on time and within budget.
